First time renting raft from Service Creek. Worked well. Some rain, not during camp, wasn't too bad. Fishing slow on Friday then picked up each day. Great camp sites at bottom of Homestead rapid (boulder bocce), and Big Bend canyon. This section not as scenic as thirtymile

June 8-10 | Thirtymile to Cottonwood | David, Brad, SteveS, George | 1000-950 | 80-62

Rained Friday night, but little after that. Fishing was good 178. Brad used Chartreuse grub worked well. Heavier jig 1/4 oz. Had huge wind gust at camp second night. Sent table flying about 50 feet into bushes. Steve's friend from Nebraska, George, joined the trip

June 14-16 | Thirtymile to Cottonwood | David, Paul | 725-600 | 75

Low flow but no major scraping. A little rain Saturday night, but little after that. Fishing was good 214 No big fish 1-14". Had big thunderstorm Sat no rain but wind blew us off the river. couldn't make any progress rowing. Saw big horn sheep on sheer wall.

June 23-25 | Thirtymile to Cottonwood | David, Chris, Tyler, Cory | 826-613 | 85

A fire started by lightening went through the canyon from a little before camp 2 all the way up to thirtymile. on River Left. Camp 1 was ok but across river was all burned. Saw lots of spot fires second day. Weather was great. Had nice helping wind last day
