FLOATING

Enjoy 3 days of breathtaking beauty, wildlife viewing opportunities, and uninterrupted relaxtion

Big Horn Sheep

As you float down the scenic canyons, take time to scan the hillside for wildlife. Several herds of Big Horn sheep can be spotted with a keen eye. They are incredible climbers and can ascend literally straight up a wall...the young's one too.

Majestic Canyons

Spectacular scenery is around every bend. The river slows in several spots and forms beautiful deep pools.

Lazy Drifting

Temperatures can reach over 100 degrees in the canyon at times and floating along side your pontoon can be just the answer. The depth of the water varies from a few inches to 10+ feet. Many stretches offer a chance to cool off...and with the warm desert air you are dried off in 30 minutes.

FISHING

Prepare yourself to get tired of catching fish. There are plenty of aggressive small mouth bass in this stretch of the river to keep you occupied all day long.

Not Just Dinks

The river is known for catching large numbers of small fish. Over the years we've found the secret to landing better quality fish and routinely catch fish in the 16-19" range. There is even the legend of a 22 incher landed. The secret...dumb luck. We've caught them on small baits and big ones, in slow water and fast, first timers and veterans, late May to early July.

Double Hook Ups

The fishing can get pretty crazy at times. These two fish hit a Rebel Popper at the same time shortly after it hit the water.

Boat or Bank

Most of the fishing is done from your Pontoon boat, but never miss the opportunity to find a nice back eddy or spit of land. You never know where that next monster fish is coming from.

CAMPING

The perfect setting each night to share stories from the day. A hot meal awaits you along with plenty of cool beverages and a guarantee of ice in your drink on the second day

Relax

Enjoy a nice scotch and cigar and create some memories that will last a lifetime

A Comfortable Bed

Well as comfortable as you can be camping. Our two person tents come with a sleeping bag and pad. The spots are pretty level. You should have no problem sleeping with the white river noise to lull you to sleep.

Supper Time

Dinner the first day varies but it is hot and plenty of it. The second day is the traditional Fish Taco night with the bass caught that day. There have been some close calls, but we always find the fish!
